With Nekron in control of all the heroes who died and came back, Superboy finds himself trapped in his own mind as a Black Lantern ring forces him to fight Wonder Girl. During the fight, Conner is just barely able to summon Krypto and leave Cassie a clue telling her to get to the Fortress. There, Krypto removes from the Kryptonian healing chamber Superboy's body, confusing the ring. When the ring attempts to jump from one Conner to the other, the conscious Superboy stops it with freeze breath. While Cassie puts the ring into orbit, Superboy returns his other body to the healing chamber.
