Danette Reilly

Danette Reilly is the sister of the original Firebrand, Rod Reilly, and became the second hero to carry that name. A volcanologist, she gained pyrokinetic powers through volcanic activity, allowing her to project and control fire and use it for self-propelled flight. She joined the wartime All-Star Squadron.

Danette Reilly arrived in the Bronze Age pages of Justice League of America #193 in 1981, brought to life by the legendary creative team of Roy Thomas, Rich Buckler, and Jeremiah Ordway — a debut that immediately signaled she belonged in distinguished company.
