“Monster Society of Evil!”

"Monster Society of Evil!" kicks off a bold new chapter in the All-Star Squadron saga, with Mister Mind assembling a fresh, menacing lineup including Oom, Mister Who, Nyola, and Ramulus—formerly Nightshade—while the JSA’s fate hangs in the balance. As Sandy and Hawkgirl discover a ruined JSA headquarters teeming with the new Society and find only Dr. Fate and Hourman captured, the mystery deepens. Meanwhile, Liberty Belle, Green Lantern, and Johnny Quick are mysteriously pulled into Earth-S, setting up a cross-dimensional clash. Written by Roy Thomas and Dann Thomas, with dynamic art by Mike Clark and Arvell Jones, and a striking cover by Mike Clark and Tony DeZuniga, this 1985 issue delivers high-stakes intrigue with a classic DC flair.

Mister Mind convenes a new Monster Society of Evil, including Oom, Mister Who, Nyola, and Ramulus (nee Nightshade, a Sandman villain). The search for the JSA also begins here, as Sandy and Hawkgirl arrive at a damaged JSA headquarters, only to see the Monster Society inside, and wonder what has become of the JSAers, since they only see a captured Dr. Fate and Hourman inside as well. Meanwhile, Liberty Belle, Green Lantern and Johnny Quick are transported to Earth-S.
