Crisis on Infinite Earths #1

Apr 1985 · DC · 0.75 USD; 0.95 CAD; 0.35 GBP
“The Summoning!”

"The Summoning!" kicks off the landmark *Crisis on Infinite Earths* #1 with a chilling cosmic spectacle: Pariah, a being fated to witness the end of realities, is pulled through dying Earths as an anti-matter wave consumes them. As Earth-3’s Crime Syndicate faces annihilation, the Monitor activates a desperate plan—sending Lyla to become Harbinger, gathering heroes and villains to the Monitor’s satellite, where they’re tested by shadow demons before the true threat emerges. Written by Marv Wolfman, Len Wein, and Robert Greenberger, and brought to life with epic scale by George Pérez on pencils and inks, this pivotal issue sets the stage for a multiversal reckoning. The cover, also by George Pérez, captures the moment of cosmic dread with haunting precision.
