From 1952 to 1962, Dell Comics published 58 issues of Bugs Bunny, bringing the wisecracking, carrot-chomping rabbit to the four-color page with a reliably funny, family-friendly touch. The series was most often written by Carl Fallberg, Don R. Christensen, and Michael Maltese, with art by Tony Strobl, Fred Abranz, and Phil De Lara, giving it a consistent, cartoonish energy that echoed the classic Warner Bros. shorts.
