Bugs Bunny #71
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis February–March 1960 Dell issue puts Bugs Bunny front and center in a wonderfully mischievous cover scene, where the smirking rabbit — wearing a green shopkeeper's apron — helps himself to items from Elmer Fudd's overstuffed grocery bag while a flustered Elmer, loaded down with produce and bottles, barely notices the theft. Ralph Heimdahl's cover art captures the warm, rubbery charm of the Looney Tunes characters perfectly against a bright orange background. With a story titled "Gold-Plated Goldfish" and interior art by Phil De Lara, this is a cheerful slice of early-1960s cartoon comics at its most fun.
