That incorrigible rabbit is at it again — on this June–July 1955 Dell issue, Bugs Bunny cheerfully helps himself to a fat carrot right out of Elmer Fudd's carefully tended windowbox garden, grinning with complete satisfaction while a furious Elmer looks on from below. Ralph Heimdahl's cover perfectly captures the duo's timeless dynamic: Bugs blissfully unbothered, Elmer absolutely seething over his pilfered produce. At just ten cents, it's a wonderfully charming snapshot of mid-fifties funny-animal comics at their most enjoyable.
