Born in 1975, Cameron Stewart is a Canadian comics creator whose career spans work as an artist, writer, colorist, inker, and letterer across more than 150 issues between 2000 and 2021.
The Invisibles #2 (2000)
Stewart first drew wider attention through his illustration work alongside writer Grant Morrison, a collaboration that helped establish his reputation for clean, expressive linework. From there he built an impressive body of work across both mainstream superhero titles and creator-owned projects. His runs on Catwoman and Batgirl stand among his most prominent mainstream contributions, the latter of which he also co-wrote. He also provided art for The Other Side, a series written by Jason Aaron, and worked on notable titles including Fight Club 2, Motor Crush, and Deadenders.
The Dreaming #51 (2000)
Outside of work-for-hire, Stewart demonstrated a strong independent voice with Sin Titulo, a self-published mystery webcomic that earned him both an Eisner Award and a Shuster Award — Canada's premier comics honor — confirming his standing as one of the more versatile and accomplished creators of his generation. His Eisner nomination for The Other Side further underscored the range of his collaborative work.
Flinch #15 (2000)
Stewart's output reflects an ability to move fluidly between genres and roles, equally comfortable driving a narrative as illustrating one crafted by others.
