Laurence Campbell's cover sets a compelling mood: a lone young figure clutching a glowing blade stands silhouetted against a fiery orange void, dwarfed by a massive reaching hand overhead, while shadowy monstrous shapes loom on either side and a rosary hung with a cross and ankh dangles in the foreground. With writing from Mike Mignola, Cameron Stewart, and Chris Roberson, and interior art by Mike Norton with colors by Dave Stewart, this volume promises the richly atmospheric horror the B.P.R.D. universe does so well.
