Avengers Assemble #1

This collection kicks off the Dark Avengers saga, assembling the sinister team of villains masquerading as heroes under Norman Osborn's command. Following the events of Secret Invasion, Osborn's Thunderbolts are rebranded as the Dark Avengers, with characters like the Venom-symbiote-wearing Mac Gargan as Spider-Man, Bullseye as Hawkeye, and Moonstone as Ms. Marvel. The volume collects Dark Avengers #1-6, written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by Mike Deodato, as the team faces off against Morgan Le Fay and begins to establish their twisted version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
