Captain America #8

Part two of the "Live Kree or Die!" crossover arrives with a cover that makes an immediate impression: Captain America bursts forward through a sea of countless skulls, shield raised and fist clenched, while a smaller inset image in the corner shows him in full stride. Andy Kubert's pencils and Jesse Delperdang's inks give the scene a raw, kinetic urgency — the sheer scale of those skeletal remains surrounding Cap makes the stakes feel enormous. Mark Waid and Andy Kubert's 1998 run continues to deliver, and this chapter looks like one not to skip.
