Avengers Assemble #1

This collection kicks off the 2004 Avengers Assemble series, bringing together a sprawling roster of heroes from across the Marvel Universe. The story sees the Avengers—including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Scarlet Witch—team up with the newly reformed Squadron Supreme (Hyperion, Power Princess, Doctor Spectrum, and others) to confront the threat of the alien shape-shifter known as the Shape and the villainous Moses Magnum. The volume also introduces or re-establishes characters like Firestar, Justice, Triathlon, and Silverclaw as part of the team's expanded lineup.
