Patrick Spaziante, often credited as "Spaz," is an American comic book artist best known for his dynamic work on licensed properties, particularly for Archie Comics. Born in 1950, he became a defining visual force for *Sonic the Hedgehog*, *Sonic X*, and *Sonic Universe*, handling both interior pencils and covers that brought the speedy blue hero to life for a new generation. His career, active from 1995 to 2015, also saw him contribute to Dreamwave Productions' *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, Nickelodeon Comics' *Avatar: The Last Airbender*, and Marvel's *Muties*.
