Sonic finds himself locked in an intense mid-air clash with a massive, feathered creature on the cover of this March 2001 Archie Adventure Series entry — a dynamic composition by penciler Patrick Spaziante and inker Harvey Mercadoocasio that crackles with energy and movement. The blue blur looks determined as sparks fly between him and the enormous winged adversary, with industrial machinery looming in the dusty background. As a bonus, the issue also features an official Sega Dreamcast pre-adaptation of Sonic Shuffle, making this a particularly fun read from Karl Bollers and the creative team.
