This 2004 Archie Adventure Series entry kicks off the "Return to Angel Island" saga with a cover packed full of familiar faces — Sonic front and center, flanked by Knuckles, the mysterious dark figure of Espio, and a whole crew including the Chaotix members Charmy, Vector, and Mighty, all posed against the dramatic cliffs of Angel Island. Patrick Spaziante's linework gives the assembled cast a lively, dynamic energy that makes the gathering feel genuinely momentous. With Karl Bollers writing and Jon Gray on interior art, this is a promising start to what looks like an action-filled storyline.
