Sonic the Hedgehog #159

Sonic and Shadow look like they've got their hands full in this 2006 Archie Adventure Series entry — the cover by Patrick Spaziante shows the two hedgehogs fighting back-to-back against a massive, writhing swarm of dark, mechanical creatures that fill nearly every inch of the image. A small comedic vignette tucked in the lower corner adds a dash of levity to what is otherwise an overwhelming, chaotic scene. With a story titled "System Reboot" and a creative team including writer Ken Penders and artist Ron Lim, issue #159 promises plenty of high-speed action and tension.
