Xamot
Xamot is one half of the identical Crimson Twins, co-commanders of Cobra's elite Crimson Guard. He and his brother Tomax share a psychic link that lets each feel the other's pain, making them uniquely dangerous corporate mercenaries serving Cobra.
Xamot made his mark on the Marvel/Devil's Due era of military comics when Larry Hama and Frank Springer introduced him in G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero #37 in 1985, right in the thick of the Bronze Age's most beloved action-adventure runs. A fixture of the G.I. Joe universe across an impressive four decades, he's the kind of character whose staying power speaks for itself — 53 catalogued appearances and three collector-recognized key issues is no small feat for any figure in this sprawling franchise. He keeps genuinely iconic company, sharing pages with the likes of Cobra Commander, Snake-Eyes, and Scarlett, which tells you everything about the high-stakes corners of the G.I. Joe world he inhabits. For fans who love digging into the deeper roster of one of comics' most enduring action properties, Xamot is absolutely worth tracking down.
