G.I. Joe #36
In "Union of the Snake Part One: Shroud," the G.I. Joe team faces a radical restructuring, with only twelve active agents now reporting directly to the enigmatic Jugglers. Meanwhile, Destro retools Cobra for profit and protection, as the Baroness’s pregnancy adds a new layer of tension to the conflict. As Thomas Stall stands trial for his actions during the failed New Moon mission, the entire Joe roster is pulled into the fallout. Written by Brandon Jerwa and illustrated by Tim Seeley, Jason Millet, and Cory Hamscher, with colors by John Rauch and letters by Dreamer Design, the issue's cover by Tim Seeley captures the weight of the moment.

The Joes are restructured so that they have a maximum of 12 active agents who answer directly to one of the Jugglers. Destro restructures Cobra for maximum profit and to help protect the Baroness, who is pregnant with his child. Thomas Stall is brought before a military court to answer for his cowardice during the New Moon mission, and all the rest of the Joe agents who were involved in that fiasco are arrested.
