With Hawk unable to walk and Cobra Commander in custody, both the Joes and Cobra must carefully consider their next moves. Colton steps in to take over Hawk's leadership position. Destro begins to take control of Cobra with the help of his new ally, Wraith. A small Joe team is sent to rescue Mirage and some trainees from New Moon, Colorado, where they have been pinned down by Cobra.
