Jericho Drumm
Jericho Drumm, a Haitian-American psychologist, returned to Haiti and was initiated into the mystical arts by a dying houngan, eventually bonding with the spirit of his deceased twin brother Daniel to become Brother Voodoo, Marvel's master of voodoo and arcane power.
Jericho Drumm is one of Marvel's most enduring and distinctive Bronze Age creations, stepping onto the scene in Strange Tales #169 in 1973 courtesy of Len Wein, Roy Thomas, and Gene Colan. Over more than five decades of publishing history β stretching all the way to 2026 β he has proven himself a figure of genuine staying power, racking up 134 catalog appearances and five collector-significant key issues that underscore just how much his story has mattered to the Marvel universe. His adventures have carried him through the pages of New Avengers, Black Panther, and Strange Academy, placing him in remarkable company alongside the likes of Spider-Man, Captain America, and Stephen Strange himself. If you've ever wanted to follow a character who bridges Marvel's mystical and street-level worlds across the full sweep of the Bronze Age and beyond, Jericho Drumm is absolutely worth your time.
