About the series
In the mid-1990s, DC Comics launched Anima, a 16-issue series that explored the dark, metaphysical corners of the superhero genre. Written primarily by Paul Witcover and Elizabeth Hand, with art by Steve Crespo, Shannon Londin-Gallant, and Malcolm Davis, the book followed a young woman grappling with immense psychic powers in a world of corporate conspiracies and supernatural threats.
