Part of DC's 1994 Zero Hour crossover event, this issue drops Anima — blonde, white-clad, and crackling with vivid green energy from both fists — into a desperate urban battle against a towering magenta insectoid creature whose slashing claws loom over a city street. The cover by penciler Steve Crespo and inker Will Blyberg captures the sheer scale of the threat, with bystanders scattering in the background as Anima pours everything she has into the fight. With Paul Witcover, Elizabeth Hand, and Brent Anderson steering the interior, this is a fine snapshot of one of DC's more offbeat '90s titles in the thick of a line-wide crisis.
