In "Locas at the Beach," Hopey convinces Maggie to fix Mister Lopez’s fruit truck, braving the teasing of the Garcia brothers, while Maggie finds herself unexpectedly drawn to Correo, the new arrival. Tensions simmer as Terry confronts her bandmates and tries to stir trouble between Hopey and Maggie.

In "Queen Rena: Life at 34," a flashback from 1986, a younger Rena takes off on foot through the desert, chasing Sharkey after he steals from and assaults Rosie. Her pursuit ends when law enforcement officer Bull Marie intervenes, arresting Sharkey but leaving Rena unconscious in the dust. She’s later found by Duke and Bernie, whose quiet connection sets the stage for a tentative date. Months later, Rena and Rosie track Sharkey down near the Mexican border, determined to face him after learning he’s been released.
