Love and Rockets #34
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLove & Rockets #34 brings the pop-art energy of Gilbert Hernandez's cover design to this 1990 Fantagraphics release, assembling a collage of vivid vignettes: a suave, mustachioed man in a wide-collar shirt dominates the center, while a joyful woman in a blue dress dances above a crouching green figure, and a trio of young characters exchange glances in the lower panel. Small inset circles — a blue embryonic figure, a desert highway — add surreal texture alongside a bold lightning bolt and a starburst "?!" that practically demands your attention. Inside, Jaime Hernandez continues his ambitious "Poison River" saga with Part 6, writing, drawing, inking, and lettering every page himself.
