JSA by Geoff Johns #3
In "Legacy," the JSA faces a chilling twist when the Injustice Society launches a surprise attack during a transport, only to be overwhelmed by the full team. But when their new leader, Legacy, captures the original JSA members, the heroes are left reeling—especially after the Spectre arrives with a warning about confronting their pasts. The true nature of Legacy, however, is far more unsettling than anyone expected. Written by Geoff Johns and David Goyer, with art by Sal Velluto and inks by Bob Almond, and featuring a striking cover by Rags Morales, this 2019 issue delivers a tense, emotionally charged turn in the team's saga.

While Sand is transporting the Icicle to prison, the Injustice Society attacks, but the villains soon face the entire JSA. Under orders from their mysterious new leader Legacy, the villains abduct the four remaining original JSA members. Later, when the remaining JSAers gather, they are surprised by a visit from the Spectre who warns them that Legacy can exploit their emotional weaknesses and that all of them need to make peace with their pasts. But when the Spectre leaves, it is revealed that he is really Legacy and that he holds not only the veteran JSAers captive, but also the real Spectre.
