JSA #29
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of DC's 2001 "Joker: Last Laugh" crossover event, this issue of JSA features a Tim Sale cover that says everything with chilling economy — a massive, ghoulish Joker face dominates the image, its red eyes gleaming and jagged teeth bared, while two small figures stand dwarfed within that terrible grin: a young woman in a star-spangled costume and a kid in civilian clothes. Geoff Johns and Peter Snejbjerg bring their talents to a story simply titled "Kids," and that contrast between the looming threat above and the vulnerability of the two figures below makes this one of the more quietly unsettling covers of the crossover.
