Betty and Veronica are at the beach, and notice that they seem to have the beach to themselves. At first they are happy about this - they can get a tan without being disturbed because there are no boys to kick sand in their faces, no boys to mooch their sandwiches and no boys to dunk them in the water. In the last panel, Veronica says that the day is going to be one big drag (no boys).
