☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis deluxe hardcover edition commemorates the 35th anniversary of DC's landmark 1985-1986 maxiseries, which reshaped the DC Universe by collapsing its multiverse into a single timeline. Written by Marv Wolfman with art by George Pérez, the story pits heroes from across Earths—including the Flash, Batman, Green Lantern, and the entire Legion of Super-Heroes—against the cosmic threat of the Anti-Monitor and his herald, the Psycho-Pirate. The collection features restored art, bonus materials, and a new introduction, making it a definitive presentation of the event that launched the modern DC continuity.
In "The Summoning!", Marv Wolfman and George Pérez deliver a pivotal moment in the Crisis on Infinite Earths Deluxe Edition, as the Antimonitor unleashes his final assault by manipulating Psycho Pirate to enslave the heroes of Earths 4, S, and X. With the fate of five universes hanging in the balance, Alex Luthor Jr. makes a desperate bid to save them—only for Harbinger to step in and alter the course of reality. The story culminates in a stark, black-and-white shift as all five earths are thrust into limbo, their fates now uncertain. The cover, a striking collaboration by George Pérez and Alex Ross, captures the moment’s gravity in bold, iconic style.

The Antimonitor uses Psycho Pirate (whom he captured in issue 3) to control the last 3 known surviving earths' heroes: 4 (Charlton comics characters), S (Marvel family), and X (Freedom fighters), as he begins to destroy their universes while the other earths' heroes from 1 and 2 warn them about the antimatter attack. Alex Luthor Jr. nearly sacrifices his unique matter/antimatter energies to transport all 3 universes into limbo alongside Earths 1 and 2, but Harbinger stops him and uses her powers instead. All fades to black and white as we then see all 5 earths and their universes now in limbo.
