This second volume of Dave Sim's epic Cerebus series collects issues #26–50 of the original comic, following the anthropomorphic aardvark as he transitions from a barbarian mercenary into a political figure in the city-state of Iest. The story arc, titled 'High Society,' marks a turning point in the series, introducing complex satire of politics, religion, and society while expanding the supporting cast and world-building that would define Cerebus for decades to come.
