Cerebus #35
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCerebus #35 from 1982 presents one of the series' more elegantly designed covers, with Dave Sim rendering a dapper, fair-haired gentleman standing casually against an ornate banknote-style composition — complete with a portrait medallion, decorative scrollwork, and the bold legend "Bank of Iest, Fifty Crowns." Tucked at the lower right, the tiny aardvark Cerebus clutches what appears to be a dark document case, his diminutive stature playing delightfully against the grand human figure looming beside him. It's a visually inventive cover that hints at financial intrigue and high-society maneuvering in the city of Iest, all rendered with Sim's characteristic draftsmanship.
