Sonny Liew

Sonny Liew Gene Sien was born on 26 September 1974 in Malaysia and is a Singaporean comic artist and illustrator. He is best known for creating *The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye* (2015), a graphic novel that blends biography, history, and metafiction. Liew entered comics in the early 2000s, working as an artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer across 80 issues from 2002 to 2022. His most credited titles include *Doctor Fate*, *Eternity Girl*, *Wonderland*, *Sense & Sensibility*, and two volumes of *Jim Henson's The Storyteller* (*Tricksters* and *Ghosts*).
