Eternity Girl #4

From DC's Young Animal imprint, Eternity Girl #4 brings Magdalene Visaggio and Sonny Liew's surreal series to another striking moment with a cover that stops you cold. Liew paints a man in a red tracksuit balancing a spinning vinyl record on one finger, atop which stands a tiny white-haired figure in a yellow dress — their hair dissolving upward into a billowing blue-grey cloud, while graffiti blooms across the background. It's a quietly strange image that captures the series' knack for making the cosmic feel intimate, colored beautifully by Chris Chuckry.
