Kid Devil
Eddie Bloomberg was a starstruck teenager who idolized the hero Blue Devil and built his own devil-themed costume to become his sidekick, Kid Devil. Despite having no powers, his sheer enthusiasm and homemade gear drove him to tag along on superheroic adventures.
Bursting onto the Bronze Age scene in Blue Devil #14 in 1985 — courtesy of creators Gary Cohn, Dan Mishkin, and Alan Kupperberg — Kid Devil is one of DC's most endearing cult favorites, a character whose youthful energy perfectly suited the era that introduced him. Over a publishing life stretching across an impressive 36 years, he's found his most comfortable home in the pages of Teen Titans and the delightful Tiny Titans, rubbing shoulders with heavy-hitters like Robin, Wonder Girl, and Green Lantern along the way. Two of his appearances carry key-issue status, a testament to the mark he's left on collectors who know their DC history. If you have a soft spot for characters who embody the scrappy, adventurous spirit of comics' younger generation, Kid Devil is absolutely worth tracking down.

Trivia
