Seriemagasinet

From 1951 to 1978, Seriemagasinet was a cornerstone of Norwegian comics publishing, running for 350 issues across three different publishers (Serieforlaget, Se-Bladene, and Stabenfeldt). This anthology series became a vital showcase for international adventure and humor strips, with regular contributions from American cartoonist Henry Boltinoff and Italian talents like writer Cesare Solini and artist Antonio Canale. Its long, unbroken run made it a key vehicle for introducing generations of Norwegian readers to a wide range of imported serialized storytelling.
