Strange Tales #168
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join free"Exile!" is a standout tale from 1968, marking Jim Steranko’s bold, surreal take on the Marvel Universe with a story that blends Cold War unease and cosmic dread. Written and illustrated by Steranko—whose distinctive art and innovative layouts define the issue—this Strange Tales #168 features a haunting dream sequence where Nick Fury confronts an alien named Vaengr, whose seemingly miraculous gift hides a terrifying truth. The cover by Dan Adkins captures the eerie spectacle of the alien’s arrival, perfectly setting the tone for a story where appearances deceive and the line between nightmare and reality blurs.
