New X-Men #22
In "Childhood's End Part 3 of 4," the students of Xavier's continue their training in the Danger Cave, confronting echoes of the past as they grapple with the present. As Dani Moonstar departs the school after losing her powers on M-Day, emotional tensions rise—Kevin flees after an accident, Emma makes her stance clear to X-23, and Stryker moves closer to completing his Purifiers. Written by Craig Kyle and Chris Yost, with dynamic art by Mark Brooks and inks by Jaime Mendoza, the issue captures the fragile, shifting dynamics of a school reeling from loss and change. The cover by Mark Brooks and Jaime Mendoza perfectly frames the weight of the moment.
