Beast tries to help Hellion get his amped up powers under control. Emma discovers that X-23 has feelings for Julian and asks her to leave the mansion for the safety of the other students. Cyclops commends David and Noriko on their recent successes and confirms that Surge is the leader of the New X-Men. X-23 is furious with Emma's insinuations and Cessily takes her to a coffee shop to talk it out, but the two are attacked by Laura's old nemesis, Kimura. X-23 misjudges the scenario, however, as it turns out Kimura's real target is Mercury.
