Jughead's Double Digest #189
In "The Big Sleep," Mr. Lodge’s sudden takeover of every restaurant on Pop Tate’s block puts Archie and Veronica in the middle of a town-wide showdown, forcing them to consider a last-minute offer on the malt shop before it’s too late. Tensions rise at a Riverdale High reunion when old grudges and new romances collide, culminating in Moose’s surprising announcement that he’s running for mayor—revealing his true first name in the process. With art by Norm Breyfogle and Stan Goldberg, and a cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick, this 2013 Double Digest blends small-town drama with classic Archie charm.
