Invincible #92 drops Mark Grayson right into the teeth of chaos — literally — as the cover shows him throwing a punch straight into the gaping, fang-filled maw of a massive alien creature while an enormous army of extraterrestrial beings surges behind him. Joining the fray are a winged heroine, a robotic armored figure, and a white-haired fighter, making this a full-on cosmic siege rendered with impressive energy by cover artists Ryan Ottley and Cory Walker. Robert Kirkman's 2012 series was confidently calling itself "the best superhero comic in the universe," and covers like this one make it easy to see why that claim had real weight behind it.
