The tagline says it all — "Girls, acne, homework, super-villains. When you're a teenager, it helps to be Invincible." Cory Walker's cover for this 2003 Image series plants the young hero in his black-and-yellow suit diving fist-first toward a hulking blue-skinned villain who's hurling what looks like office equipment across a rooftop. It's a confident, kinetic image that perfectly captures the book's blend of ordinary teenage life and genuinely dangerous superheroics.
