“Poison Pen Pals”

In "Poison Pen Pals," Jinx stumbles upon a peculiar cat with a star-shaped mark, only to be whisked away to ancient Egypt alongside the feline. There, she shares tales of modern life with Cleopatra, sparking unease in the court magician—whose past plans now seem threatened by the future. Written and drawn entirely by Joe Edwards, with a cover by Dan DeCarlo, this 1985 Double Digest adventure blends whimsy and time-travel mischief in a story that’s as clever as it is unexpected.
