Jughead #206
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeJughead Jones is at his most charmingly oblivious in this July 1972 issue, standing at a watch and clock shop counter with a bemused shopkeeper holding out an alarm clock and asking what's wrong with it — Jughead's deadpan reply says it all: "It keeps going off while I'm asleep!" Archie looks on with an amused grin while a blonde companion stands nearby, and a small running gag plays out across the top of the cover with a breathless figure dashing past two onlooking girls. Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick deliver a warm, funny cover scene that perfectly captures Jughead's unique relationship with sleep, logic, and the rest of the world.

Archie and Betty see Jughead in the public library reading an absurdly mismatched selection of books, from "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Electromagnetic Energy" to "Mother Goose." They start to think he's just putting them on about his varied tastes in literature.
