“Play It Safe”

In "Play It Safe," Jinx stumbles upon a mysterious cat marked with a star pattern, only to be whisked away to ancient Egypt with the feline. There, Jinx shares tales of modern marvels like cars and televisions with Cleopatra, sparking unease in the court magician—whose own magic is suddenly threatened by the idea of progress. The story, written and illustrated by Joe Edwards, blends whimsy and time-travel mischief in a classic Archie Comics adventure. Cover by Joe Edwards.
