Ilias Kyriazis
Ilias Kyriazis (born 1978 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek comic book writer and artist best known for his work on American titles for IDW and DC's Zuda imprint, as well as his acclaimed Greek series *Blood Opera* and *Manifesto*, which originally ran in the magazine *9* of *Eleftherotypia*. He entered the field in his home country before transitioning to the U.S. market in 2008. Over a career spanning 2008 to 2025, Kyriazis has been credited as artist, colorist, and inker on 48 issues, with his most frequent credits appearing on *Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency: The Salmon of Doubt*, *Secret Identities*, *Collapser*, *Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency: A Spoon Too Short*, and *Ghostbusters: Displaced Aggression*. His style blends clean linework with moody, atmospheric coloring, often handling multiple production roles on a single project. He has collaborated with writers including Chris Ryall and Mike Johnson. No major awards have been recorded for Kyriazis, but his dual-career path—first establishing himself in Greek comics, then building a steady body of work for American publishers—marks him as a versatile craftsman whose European sensibility has enriched his stateside projects.
