The cover, illustrated by Ilias Kyriazis, perfectly captures Dirk Gently's particular brand of chaos: the self-satisfied detective sits calmly sipping tea amid a web of red string connecting a bulletin board crammed with clippings, notes, and sketches, while toy animals, scattered papers, and general disorder surround him — blissfully unbothered by it all.
