Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency #4

Issue four of IDW's adaptation of Douglas Adams' beloved creation finds the holistic detective himself front and center, peering intently at a glowing golden device with a sidelong glance that suggests he's either onto something brilliant or about to make things considerably worse. Behind him, a crowd of shambling, decayed undead figures looms out of a twilight-drenched tropical backdrop — apparently unnoticed, or perhaps simply filed under "interconnected and therefore fine." Tony Akins' cover work captures that quintessential Dirk Gently energy: cheerful obliviousness in the face of the deeply alarming, brought to vivid life by Chris Ryall, Ilias Kyriazis, and the rest of the creative team.
