Part of DC's Young Animal line, Collapser #5 brings a genuinely distinctive visual energy to this penultimate chapter with a cover by Ilias Kyriazis that leans into retro showbiz flair — a yellow-and-purple-caped hero leaping dynamically through a cityscape of towering crates, framed within an ornate oval border. The carnival-poster styling, complete with proclamations of "22 Pages of Action!" and "All in Full Color!", gives the whole thing a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek charm. Writers Mikey Way and Shaun Simon continue their collaboration here under the "Comedown" story title, with Kyriazis and colorist Cris Peter keeping the book's offbeat aesthetic firmly intact.
