Henry Flint
Henry Flint is a British comic book artist best known for his long-running work with the science fiction anthology *2000 AD*. Born in 1974 in the United Kingdom, he broke into the industry in the early 1990s, quickly becoming a regular contributor to the title. Flint’s signature style combines bold, dynamic linework with a gritty, expressive energy, often using heavy inks and dramatic shadows to heighten the tension of futuristic and horror-tinged stories. He is particularly celebrated for his runs on *Judge Dredd*, where he collaborated with writer John Wagner, and for co-creating the character Nikolai Dante with writer Robbie Morrison. His work on *Dante* showcased his flair for swashbuckling action and intricate, character-driven design. Beyond *2000 AD*, Flint has contributed to American comics, including *The Omega Men*, *The Haunted Tank*, and *Deathblow*, as well as the video game adaptation *Gears of War*. He has also worked as a colorist and inker, often handling all three roles on his pages. Later in his career, Flint has remained a sought-after artist for special projects and convention appearances, with his influence seen in a generation of British comic artists. He has received multiple Eagle Awards for his work on *2000 AD*, solidifying his reputation as a key figure in modern British comics.
