2000 AD #1329

2000 AD Prog 1329 hits newsstands in February 2003 with a cover by Simon Davis that's impossible to ignore — a crowd of grotesque, sharply rendered characters jostle for position, from a spike-mohawked pale figure in purple to a grinning green-skinned woman and a shadowy robed presence lurking at the back, all packed into a composition that practically vibrates with menace and dark humor. The banner proclaims "The Geeks of Wrath!", setting a wickedly irreverent tone for what's inside. With John Wagner and Andy Diggle scripting and Henry Flint on art (with colors by Chris Blythe), this prog also continues "Judge Dredd vs. Aliens: Incubus" at Part 9 — plenty of reasons to grab this one off the shelf.
