“Born to Zoosh”

Prog 1634 of 2000 AD — "the Galaxy's Greatest Comic" — arrives in May 2009 with a cover that does exactly what it should: a ghoulish, skeletal humanoid creature with glowing orange eyes and a wide, toothy grin looms toward the viewer, cheerfully asking "Can I eat you?" Henry Flint's cover art renders this rotting, muscular monstrosity in sickly greens and yellows, striking just the right balance between grotesque and darkly comic. Inside, Gordon Rennie and Nick Dyer bring "Born to Zoosh" to life, with colors by Chris Blythe and lettering by Annie Parkhouse.
